Why You Absolutely Need a Post-Wedding Photoshoot (Trust Me, It's Worth It)
Hey there, newlyweds! So, the big day has come and gone. You’ve danced, cried happy tears, and maybe had a few too many glasses of champagne. Now, you’re left with the gorgeous memories and those incredible wedding photos. But wait, have you ever thought about a post-wedding photoshoot? I know, I know – you’re thinking, “We just got all these amazing photos, why would we need more?” Well, let me tell you, a post-wedding photoshoot is like the icing on the wedding cake you didn’t even know you needed. Let’s dive into why you should totally consider it.
No Stress, All Fun
Remember how nerve-wracking the actual wedding day was? Making sure everything was perfect, sticking to a tight schedule, and constantly being in the spotlight can be a bit intense. A post-wedding shoot? It's a whole different vibe. There's no pressure to rush back to the reception, no guests waiting on you – just you, your partner, and your photographer having a blast. You can relax, be goofy, and just enjoy each other’s company without a care in the world. Sounds dreamy, right?
Dress Up One More Time
How amazing did you look on your wedding day? I mean, seriously. You’ve got that stunning dress or dashing suit that you probably won’t get to wear again. A post-wedding photoshoot gives you an excuse to slip back into your wedding attire and relive the magic. Plus, you can choose a new location that you might have missed out on during the actual wedding. Always wanted those sunset beach shots but got married in the city? Now’s your chance!
Get Creative with Locations
Speaking of locations, a post-wedding shoot opens up a world of possibilities. You’re not limited by the wedding venue anymore. Want to take photos in that adorable coffee shop where you had your first date? Or maybe in the mountains, with a backdrop of breathtaking views? The sky's the limit. This is your opportunity to get those unique and personal shots that tell your love story in a whole new way.
More Time, More Memories
Your wedding day is a whirlwind, and sometimes, capturing every little moment is tough. A post-wedding photoshoot allows you to take your time, savor each moment, and create even more memories. It’s like extending the joy of your wedding day. Plus, it’s a fun excuse to hang out with your photographer again (who you probably became besties with by the end of the wedding).
A Chance to Include Everyone (Pets Too!)
Did your furry friend miss out on the big day? Or maybe your beloved grandma couldn’t make it? A post-wedding shoot is the perfect opportunity to include everyone who’s special to you. Bring your pets, your family, or even your wedding party for some additional group shots. It’s a great way to celebrate with those who couldn’t be there and create more cherished photos.
So, there you have it – the scoop on why a post-wedding photoshoot is an absolute must. It’s fun, it’s relaxed, and it’s another chance to capture your love story. Trust me, you’ll look back on those extra photos and be so glad you took the plunge. Happy shooting!
In the words of Audrey Hepburn “Paris is always a good idea…..”
Rachel and Camille had an Epic Scottish Wedding in the Highlands Surrounded by friends and family blog post here?
but the wanted some timeless images of where their relationship had blossomed and ultimately where they are planning to settle, Paris.
Paris
The city of light provides the perfect backdrop for some classic timeless portraits, due to the Haussmann architectures Iconic universal appeal it has drawn cinematographers, painters and photographers for over 100 years
Planning
There wasn’t too much to do in the way of planning as I have already spent hundreds on hours walking the streets of Paris camera in hand.
So after a brief discussion we were good to go, we started at Camille’s family home, before heading to… a truly surreal enclave on the outskirts of Paris where half of the roads are dirt paths to accommodate horses, as the groom is an accomplished rider Rachel and Camille rode bareback on Sticky ( the horse)
